After being diagnosed in childhood with Usher Syndrome, Nina Livingstone lost her sight and hearing completely in the year 2000. After receiving a cochlear implant the following year, Nina started bringing her stories to life onstage. As a writer and journalist, Nina has interviewed the likes of Marlee Matlin and Fran Lebowitz. She is a regular contributor to Edible Boston magazine, Boston Spirit, and JewishBoston.com, among others, and is completing her memoir entitled Are You There?
